Purpose
The Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and
evaluating training programs that strengthen both the technical and behavioral
competencies of Unified Microsystems employees. This role will conduct technical trainings as well as soft skills
training to enhance communication, customer service, teamwork, and professional
effectiveness.
The Trainer plays a critical role in ensuring employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and mindset required to deliver high-quality services aligned with company standards and client expectations.

Work Overview
- Assess training needs in coordination with the
department heads.
- Design and update training materials, modules,
manuals, presentations, and practical exercises for both technical and soft
skills programs.
- Work with internal and external subject matter experts
to develop, review, and facilitate technical training content that reflects
current systems, tools, and operational practices.
- Create, maintain, and regularly update a comprehensive
training plan and schedule covering technical and soft skills programs,
ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to operations.
- Conduct engaging technical and soft skills training
sessions, including hands-on demonstrations, simulations, and practical
assessments.
- Facilitate onboarding and refresher technical
trainings for new hires and existing staff.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments,
feedback, and performance observations.
- Recommend improvements to training programs based on
learning outcomes and operational needs.
- Track training attendance, completion, and competency
development.
- Performs other duties within the scope of the role to
support the organization's goals.
Requirements
Required and Preferred Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and
administration
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles, service management
concepts, and best practices, with the ability to translate these into
practical, role-based training for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to deliver technical training focused on core IT
concepts, workflows, and service processes rather than product-specific
instruction, enabling learners to adapt across different tools and systems.
- Strong skills in designing training materials, presentations,
manuals, and practical exercises, and in facilitating engaging classroom,
virtual, and hands-on training sessions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, structured, and
audience-appropriate manner.
- Ability to assess training needs, evaluate learning outcomes,
gather feedback, and recommend improvements based on performance observations
and business requirements.
- Effective collaboration skills for working with department
heads, subject matter experts, and external training vendors to ensure training
content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with operational needs.
- Strong planning and time-management skills to manage training
schedules, track attendance and completion, and ensure timely delivery of
training programs.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer
Science, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in training, learning and
development, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating
training programs, including both technical and soft skills training.
- Hands-on experience conducting technical trainings related to
IT support, systems, tools, or project-based environments.
- Experience facilitating soft skills training, such as
communication, customer service, teamwork, and professional effectiveness.
- Background in IT services, managed services, or
technology-driven organizations is highly preferred.
- Experience working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to
develop and validate technical training content.
- Familiarity with onboarding programs, refresher trainings,
and competency-based training approaches.
- Experience in training needs analysis, training scheduling,
and tracking training effectiveness.
- Prior
experience in a multicultural or fast-paced work environment is an advantage.
